Russell's House play traditional music of the various regions of countries such as Ireland, Scotland, Brittany, Northern Spain, and America, among others, along with newly composed music and lyrics, in a style that can be described as swing-tinged. Instrumentation includes fiddle, banjo, guitar and piano. Although they released their debut cd to great acclaim in 1999 they remain ever elusive on the gigging circuit with only a few special gigs a year. Members have been and continue to be involved with many different bands and projects and this keeps their music ever vibrant and tastefully eclectic while remaining always entertaining.
